Unfortunately, seems like everyone is off either surfing, grilling, out at the lake or beach and just enjoying the sunny summer days. Plus Magick and the others are having a blast hitting up Cataclysm, enjoying Pirates of the Burning Sea now that it's gone Free to Play, digging around in Minecraft & checking out Vindictus (Mabinogi Heroes) on rainy days or on dead nights.
I've been checking out the DDO gameplay and even found an awesome guild to join up with. I'm also trying out the Worgen race on Cataclysm, but so far I've not been overly impressed by the changes to the game. I've see how things go...
Personally, I'm waiting for Guild Wars 2 to come out. Meanwhile, I've been visiting some old friends in Shayia, Rohan & Rappelz. None of which have remained static, adding some nice new content and events since I've been away. Even Shin Megami has added some things that took me by surprise. I've even managed to find time to play with some nieces and nephews on Wizard 101 - lots of family fun and not too shabby on strategy, though it may feel a bit kiddish for some.
With the summer just getting geared up, most game companies know that things are going to be fairly slow while everyone is reconnecting with the outside world. But I'll be waiting for the new releases that will be coming out around fall this year. I'm so hoping that someone will leak another peek at the World of Darkness project that's in the works. That is really going to be one sweet game since the Eve Online team are on board for that one.
Well I'm off to jump into my swimsuit and grab my board to catch some choice waves. Enjoy the summer everyone! Have fun, stay safe & I'll catch you all on the flip flop.
