Happy Birthday Aion!

NCSoft's MMO celebrates its first birthday in style!

This week Aion: Tower of Infinity celebrates its one year release anniversary in the West, and not to be outdone by other MMOs NCSoft has some grand plans to celebrate the joyous occasion.
First up they've provided five different rewards for those who have been on-board for the entire 12 months.

The star offering is an Aqua Griffo Egg, which when hatched not only grants players a nifty pet, but also eighteen additional inventory slots. The cute companion can also detect enemy Daevas and will produce Aether items over time.
Secondly, those of you who were late to the party need not worry, as there will also be a Daeva's Day event to witness fireworks, meet up with friends, eat cake, complete special quests and compete to win silly hats.
The celebrations will be located in each race's capital city - Sanctum for Elyos and Pandaemonium for Asmodian - and will take place until October 6th.
