and Jump into the Wholly New World in Cataclysm
- Eastern Kingdoms - Part II
By Mianhuatang
I'm a MMO fan from Asia. My English is not very well, so some of my articles might include some mistakes in grammar or something else. Feel free to point them out I will never mind. I like play games and know some Japanese. I will share some good and interesting things which I found from Japanese sources. Hope you like them. Lol.
During the past 5 years, World of Warcraft has progressed through its very first version, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and the latest expansion Cataclysm, and many players have also grown from students to office workers, or from single people to parents, and gone through many important turning points of life. Meanwhile, the time background in the game has changed as well, and all the characters and incidents that were familiar to players in the past also vary with the time. Moreover, the return of Deathwing also rends the Azeroth which was familiar to WoWers. For the old players, the version 4.0 will present a wholly new world that is the most familiar to them.
I found most of the resources on the internet (WoWhead.com) and make a sort of them. :P

Eastern Kingdoms - Part II
Elwynn Forest (1-12)
Elwynn has only receieved a few minor changes. One of the more noticible changes is the field in Northshire Valley where the Defias were located is now burnt to a crisp. Blackrock orcs are to be blamed for this invasion - the Cataclysm has opened a passage from the barren Burning Steppes to the lush Elwynn Forest, and the clans want to pillage. The "Hogger experience" has been changed to reflect His proper level of epicness too. Other than that one change everything is mostly the same.
