The future of Online game in 2011

Social media have been made good effective use of in the virtual online gaming industry so far, and even such newly rising platform is squeezing out Google’s dominance on Internet. If online game publishers or MMORPG publishers were choosing Google to advertise their games, such publishers will release the advantages of advertising their games using Facebook in 2011 sooner or later, saving a lot to get a new signup. Although both Facebook and Twitter have become big business in social networking tools and online game developers and publishers apply them in the virtual gaming industry, but so far only Facebook has supported the games hosted on the Platform and I believe twitter has put this agenda on top priority in 2011.

In 2010, we have only seen the beginning of the virtual gaming industry operating in the field of social media, with some progress on both Facebook and Twitter pages relating to its official sites.

Increasing the size of operations will be quite popular in 2011. After the big merger that took place this year between MochiGames and Shanda, Google and Groupon and SocialDeck,  other industry investors begin to seek opportunity to hit the online game industry, with social game, browser game and free mmorpg as its products.

The  year of 2011 will be certainly very important for virtual gaming industry, especially for social games on Facebook and browser games in three dimensional environment. Also, the MMORPG or Free MMORPG is no longer active as 5 year’s booming. In the mobile game field, the Android games and iPhone games will also be the most competitive, still have lots of space to expand.

What will be happen in next year? We will be happy to see a new gaming style besides free online games in 2011.
