World of Warcraft gets Kinected!

Researchers at the University of Southern California have come up with nifty way to play World of Warcraft using Microsoft's ultra flexible device, the Kinect. Using a middleware software called FAAST or Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton Toolkit (FAAST), which facilitates integration of full-body control with games and VR applications, the researchers was able to develop and control off-the-shelf video games such as World of Warcraft using the Kinect. According to the team, "since these games would not normally support motion sensing devices, FAAST emulates keyboard input triggered by body posture and specific gestures. These controls can be dynamically configured for different applications and games." Check out the demo down below.
